Night Of Champions reveiw

A review of what happened at the night of champions, more details will follow along as the night continues

Buffalo, New York. Sunday Night was a Night of Champions as the WWE presented their Pay Per View in which every title that is currently represented in the company is defended. Also the title of Chief Operating Officer (COO) is also defended as Triple H vs CM punk. But more on that later as.  

The Night began with the Tag Team title match with the tag team champions AirBoom, Kofi Kingston and Even Bourne vs “Awesome truth” Miz and R-Truth. This match was watched with a lot of excitement, for the not only were these two teams just recently formed, but all four men are equally popular. This is especially true with Kingston and Bourne as the WWE Universe voted for their new name AirBoom, A combination of Evan’s nickname, “Air Bourne” and Kingston catch phrase, “Boom Boom, Boom.”

The team was recently thrown together a couple moths ago, after winning the tag team titles from David Otunga and Michael Mcgillicutty, and have been working successfully ever since.

Awesome truth on the other hand, was formed based on the belief of a conspiracy in the WWE that prevented them from having any media attention. Through the same goal, Miz and Truth joined forces to make a statement attempting to win the tag team championship. Their name, Awesome truth, was based of R-truth’s Name and Miz’s catch phrase “Awesome.”

It was a great match to begin the night as it had nothing but fast pace and highflying action. The crowd was on their feet waiting to see who would win. The match brought out a lot of charisma that had been missing in the tag team division in a long time, and hopefully will see again in future matches with other teams.

Miz and Truth were on their way to winning the tag team titles, as they kept the highfliers grounded towards the end of match.  However, due to the fast pace wrestling, the referee was unable to keep up with the match, causing Awesome truth to be furious enough to attack him. The attack on the referee caused Miz and Truth to be disqualified, making AirBoom the victor.

Miz and Truth left ring upset but not done as they appeared later in the night. The review of triple H and CM Punk will be blogged much later.
